THIS CAMPAIGN IS CLOSED.

When rscreighton and I started this community, we did not think that it would grow as large and as quickly as it did. With your help, we've raised over $2200 dollars!!!!

Because of the timing, we were not able to fund-raise much for Puerto Rico. Although, we've included charities for them on our Donation Options page, you can head over too fandomlovespuertorico for their full fundraiser.

Thank you to everyone who offered their time, their services, and their donations. If you participated in and won an auction, you should have a comment saying you've won and giving you instructions on how to donate. Once your fanwork is completed, consider posting it in the AO3 collection Harvey_Fanaid.

We are in the home stretch of this fandom fundraiser! As of this moment, we've raised over $900 for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma survivors, but their struggle continues. In these final days, remember to invite your friends and don't forget about the auctions or custom requests. This is a PRIME TIME to snag the fanwork of your dreams. When the community closes at 11:59PM EST (i.e. New York) on Saturday, September 30th, we will contact winners of the auctions and ask them to send in proof of donation within 7 days. (If you cannot make that deadline, please let us know.)

Can you believe we're already halfway through September? Thank you to everyone who has participated, created, donated, and shared this community with others. An enormous thank you to rscreighton for working behind the scenes and confirming proof of donation almost instantly.

So far we've raised $682 just in the Buy It Now donations!!! There are still 2 weeks left in this campaign, so keep sharing and asking your friends to do the same. Remember that if you can't donate here and you buy from Amazon, you can switch to Amazon Smile, choose one of the charities listed, and 0.5% of your purchase will be donated there.

Finally, we've been seeing some people post their proof of donation to this community. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. For your internet safety, email a screenshot of your donation with your name to fandomaid.harvey [at] Gmail [dot] com and BLACK OUT all info you don't want the bad guys to steal. I assure you that we will respond within 36 hours.

Do you have a super specific request that you've been longing to see made real? Now's your chance! Commission the creation of your dreams. Reply with your username, the fandom (if appropriate) of your choice, and any specifics that a potential creator will need to make your ultimate fanwork.

On August 23, 2017, Hurricane Harvey hit land and caused record flooding in southeastern Texas, USA. I waited to see if the fandomaid community would put up a post, but it has not happened as of today. Hence, rscreighton and I are creating a fandomaid-esque fundraiser to help those affected by the storm. The hurricane has wreaked havoc on southeast Texas and is now making its way through Louisiana.

Your donations will help people with supplies, finding homes, helping animals affected, and treating injuries. There will be ‘buy it now’, ‘auction’ and 'custom request' options available. Once your fanwork is completed, consider posting it in the AO3 collection Harvey_Fanaid.

CLOSING DATE: The closing date for this campaign will be: 11:59PM EST (i.e. New York) on Saturday, September 30th.

September 30 is the last day that we will run this campaign. Auctions will close, Buy It Nows will be frozen, and we will stop taking new offers/requests. Thank you to everyone participating. This community would not exist without your contributions. ♥
