rscreighton and I started this community, we did not think that it would grow as large and as quickly as it did. With your help, we've raised over $2200 dollars!!!!

Because of the timing, we were not able to fund-raise much for Puerto Rico. Although, we've included charities for them on our Donation Options page, you can head over too

fandomlovespuertorico for their full fundraiser.

Thank you to everyone who offered their time, their services, and their donations. If you participated in and won an auction, you should have a comment saying you've won and giving you instructions on how to donate. On August 23, 2017, Hurricane Harvey hit land and caused record flooding in southeastern Texas, USA. I waited to see if the

fandomaid community would put up a post, but it has not happened as of today. Hence,

rscreighton and I are creating a

fandomaid-esque fundraiser to help those affected by the storm. The hurricane has wreaked havoc on southeast Texas and is now making its way through Louisiana.

Your donations will help people with supplies, finding homes, helping animals affected, and treating injuries. There will be ‘buy it now’, ‘auction’ and 'custom request' options available. Once your fanwork is completed, consider posting it in the AO3 collection Harvey_Fanaid.

CLOSING DATE: The closing date for this campaign will be: 11:59PM EST (i.e. New York) on Saturday, September 30th.

September 30 is the last day that we will run this campaign. Auctions will close, Buy It Nows will be frozen, and we will stop taking new offers/requests. Thank you to everyone participating. This community would not exist without your contributions. ♥

UPDATE: Someone asked if

rscreighton and I will extend the dates of this fundraiser in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The answer is no. However, if you would like to recommend Irma charities to the Donation Options page, we will happily add them.

We are in the home stretch of this fandom fundraiser! As of this moment, we've raised over $900 for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma survivors, but their struggle continues. In these final days, remember to invite your friends and don't forget about the auctions or custom requests. This is a PRIME TIME to snag the fanwork of your dreams. When the community closes at 11:59PM EST (i.e. New York) on Saturday, September 30th, we will contact winners of the auctions and ask them to send in proof of donation within 7 days.
